I am very sorry to report that outr C9 will once again be going back to the factory.  With only a couple hundred rounds through it from the last trip, it has started stovepiping 30-40% of the time.  Ejector and firing pin look fine.  Ammo doesn't matterr, happens with everything.  Can't figure it out.

I like HiPoint's concept of affordable firearms and I love their customer service, but this will be the 4th trip back to the mothership for this gun.

We have PLENTY of mags, this time I just want a reliable pistol to come back.  Will update.

Shucks.   Sounds like you may have got a lemon. It happens. Could be HP might hand you a new one if you pursued that angle. Good luck.

Make certain that you get all the lubricant off the parts after cleaning. If your rounds have any oil on them they will feed two at the time. Mostly ftf or stovepipe is caused by not releasing the slide properly

Thanks you for the replies, but it's not limp wristing.  I'm 6'2", 275, and I understand how to "not" limpwrist.  Plus, it's happening with three different shooters (checked to be sure).  No stray lube either and I have adjusted all five mags....shows how many free mags I have gotten back from the factory lol.

The gun goes back next week.  But in thinking about it, I am going to talk to the factory first.  I have spare extractors and springs from previous attempts to fix it.  Maybe one of the techs can provide some guidance short of a return.

at this point id ask the facotry to repalce the entire pistol.  it seems you may have an issue with the frame to me if its been back repeatedly.  a frame to slide fit issue may cause this.

VERY sorry, it's been a rough week and I did not take care of the pistol issue.  Absolutely going to do it early next week and will post the report.  It really does suck to make a post like I did and then let the follow up slip but like I said....rough week lol.

They'll probably send a new weapon back after 4 trips, they want you, as a customer, to be satisfied, just write that you would like a new weapon back on your problems note when sending it in. I'm sure they will be happy to oblige in order to keep your business and your good word about the company to others.
