Quite.  We don't want them going all Microsoft on us and having to issue "4595 Service Pack 1".

This is a firearm that Hi-Point intends to guarantee forever, basically, so I don't blame them for proceeding cautiously in order to get it right the first time. If they rush this gun into production and then have a design flaw become apparent that precipitates a flood of warranty returns, it could be financially disastrous for the company. If the manufacturer was forced to go out of business, none of us would be happy about that.  Cry
Very insightful... a lot of us forget this part.

thats very true...that never even crosse my mind... i still want the damn thing though, LOL....

I have two 995 Classics and a 4095.  I'm looking at a 995TS to update the collection.  All I want for Christmas is my 4595 to complete my collection.  Is that too much to ask?

You guys still think the 4595 is real? After ten cancellations, five delays and countless postponements?

Oh boy!  Cheesy

Have some faith guys, as big a deal as we're making of it I'm sure they don't want to let us down. I expect this gun to be one of the best and best selling guns they've ever produced. Maybe even produced by anyone.

Are we there yet? Smiley

Just in case some of the folks at Hi Point read this far down on the thread, I've got two of your carbines so far, and there is no doubt I'll go for a third once the 4595 is available.
