Hello, everyone....been a while since I got on and chatted. Figured I should update you on the progress of the new stock and the 4595.
Before we get started, though, I thought I should let you newcomers and "oldtimers" know who I am.  This is Shirley.  I am Tom's wife and we own Hi-Point Firearms.  I have been made aware that I have an impersonator out there.  Gee, what a compliment. Cheesy  (I am FAMOUS!!! YEA!!!)
Tom wanted me to let you know that he is putting the finishing touches on the new stock.  For you people that made it to the Shot Show in Orlando, it was there for veiwing.  It really is hard to pinpoint an exact date for release, because there is problems that crop up unexpectedly.  But I will try to keep in touch so you guys know the progress.
As for the 4595, it will be equipped with the new 45 stock, only.  So, it will be released after the new stock.  (just a tidbit, Tom shot 16 raccoons in our yard last fall with the prototype.  He shot them from an upper floor window from the house!)
Tom is working on the mold for the new 45 stock.  I will close for now. Any new developments I'll let you know.

Excellent. I've had 45 caliber carbine money burning a hole in my pocket for a while.

As for the new stock in relation to old carbine owners, I suspect that it will be free like every other spare part people ask for. If I might make a suggestion, let us pay something for that stuff, even if it is just enough to cover the materials.

Holy Hi Point that is awsome news.  I have my order in with my dealer already.  I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the release of the 4595 that has my name on it.  Thanks Shirley.

I suspect this might be true if you had a broken stock, but I doubt that they can afford to do all this work on a new stock design and then just give the stocks away to all the previously purchased gun owners.
This in short would bankrupt them. Even if only a small amount of the HP carbine owners tried to get new stocks that way it would be more than the company could handle.

Shirley, Mrs.Deeb,
It is my honor to sticky this topic to the top, that way you do not have to search for it.
*stickies topic*
Thank you very much for clearing up the impostor Shirley... and tell Tom he's doing a fine job, as we will take quality over quantity any day!

Please keep us up to date on the 4595's evolution.... and thank you and your family once again (now that I get to say it to someone personally Cheesy) for making such a fine firearm.  I literally owe my life to your family's weapons.

Feel free to drop by anytime!!

Thanks.  The e-mail I had gotten back was from the hipointinfo@yahoo.com address.  With all the the talk about the new stock I mistakenly thought you had a date listed (which you did not) Embarrassed.  My apologies.  Just can't wait to get one.
