I stopped keeping track, but I think I'm getting close to the 2,000 round mark in my C9.

So far, I have had 1 malfunction (FTF) that was unintentional. I made my C9 jam up by deliberate limp wristing a few times, but I don't really count those...lol.

Keep in mind, I keep my C9 very, very clean and I did the fluff and buff right after I got it (smoothing all contact areas, and polishing the feed ramp, etc...).

A small gun store owner asked my what kind of .45 I had and I told him it was a Hi Point. He just shook his head and said "that gun will blow up after 500 rounds. I' am just past 500 and it hasn't happened yet.

Went shooting today, make that just past 600. Another 100 rounds with no misfires or feeding problems. When I make the ammo right my .45 delivers!

As far as my earlier comment about my JCP and JHP jamming, after purchasing another magazine for each, I loaded all four for a while (a week I think), then went and shot with my .45 not jamming no matter what brand round I put through (I used five different brands and loads). The JCP (.40) jammed twice in 200 rounds that day and the last two magazines of ten each had no jams at all!  Four brands were used, but it does seem to prefer Winchester, though the Federal American Eagle do well in it too.  I guess it was the magazine break-in problem and me polishing the feed ramps in both.  I feel VERY comfy with both "heavies" as they now shoot a tight group wherever I put them.  Thanks again, guys.  The comments here sometimes do not make sense to us "newbies," but the advice DOES WORK!!!.  Pax vobis.  RL

Three months and just shy of 2000 rounds of Wolf White Box. Never had a FTF or FTE. 100% reliable and darn accurate at 150yds with irons.
