The 2nd. amendment gives me the RIGHT to keep and bear arms. anytime, anyplace, in any fashion. i will not give up that RIGHT by obtaining a cc permit. by obtaining said permit you are subjugating yourself to the law and relinquishing your RIGHT.

Do you care to explain your post, and the aggression behind it?

So you are above the law? I also am a staunch believer in the 2nd Amend. but to say that by following the letter of the law that we as CC holders are subjugating ourselves is blantantly uninformed at best. If anything, by having a CC license I feel that I am supporting and using my rights even moreso than if I cower and try to hide the fact that I am carrying without getting the required license. Now if we are speaking of open carry then I do believe that it should be legal without a permit everywhere. That to me is "bearing arms", but concealed carry is not mentioned anywhere in the 2nd nor is it implied that it is our right.

Do you care to explain your post, and the aggression behind it? This was NOT a request Pistol. You have 48 hours to respond to me either by PM or by posting in this thread. From what I can read between the lines, it seems to me as if you consider yourself above the law, and if so, you are not welcome on our forum. We are law abiding gun owners, and 1 bad apple really does spoil the bunch. So, what's it gonna be?

The official state guidelines for Minnesota – Seems there’s no difference between open & concealed carry: During the 2005 Session, several firearm carry bills were introduced to address the court decisions regarding the 2003 Minnesota Citizens' Personal Protection Act of 2003. In May of 2005, Senate File 2259 was passed by both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Governor Pawlenty signed Senate File 2259 into law (Laws of Minnesota 2005, Chapter 83) on May 24, 2005. This act makes no distinction between "open carry" versus "concealed carry" and persons with a valid permit are allowed to carry using either method.http://www.leg.state.mn.us/lrl/issues/firearmcarry.asp

i do not consider myself above the law. but a right is not subject to legislation. and that was an adamant stance, not aggression.
