I know times are tough right now, and the economy is in the toilet. The company I work for is still hiring.

I work in a national park, and the jobs usually come with housing.

They may not be jobs in your field, but it's a job until your field opens up.

You can go straight through the Gov to apply as well. www.usajobs.gov use the search function for location/bureau/agency etc...
