Which of the woods from Marshalls is the hardest or would take the most wear?

Really nice looking CZ82. Mine is a 1886 production. I had thought about striping mine down and bluing it. Yours is only about the 2nd or 3rd I've seen blued. I think they really look great that away. It also seems easier to not have the problem about building up the thickness of the finish to much on parts to function correctly. I reallly enjoy shooting mine and it seems very accurate. Most reviews I've read in magazines show it to be more accurate than most newer model firearms with close to the same length barrels.

I outshoot guys in USPSA all the time and most of them have 5 to 6 inch barrel competition pistols. We are talking 1000.00 to 5000.00 dollar guns and it really burns em that my 179.00 dollar used CZ with in their mind inferior caliber ammo does so well!

I've bought the supplies to refinish my CZ82.  Instead of blueing I am going to use Wonder Blu's blacking.  Same type of finish as the blueing but should look more like the original black finish.

I love it! I have a special dispensation to shoot it in USPSA/IPSIC matches as a minor caliber. And yesterday I shot second best on the club team! 26 seconds on the following course. Three silhouettes double tap each, change mag on the move to the next shooting box, Three steel poppers with one tripping a pop up silhouette that you have to double tap, change mag on the move to the next shooting box, Plate rack 6 plates.

I only missed once on the first popper. Other than that I got all A hits on the paper and a perfect score on the plate rack!! I was shooting this in front of 150 GOP bigwigs from southwest MI !!

It was a blast!! Oh and they pop up target had a donkey on it..... Wink

Hey Auto, what's the distances on the range? I'd like to set up one on my range and have no idea how to go about it. Thanks, Bulldog

http://www.uspsa.org/

Much info at the link provided.

We shoot no closer than 7yds at steel and as far away as 35 sometimes!

Here is a video of me shooting the demo stage for the GOP.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD7xw_PxyNw
