I do vote that it be on a weekend though.

+1

Only free time I have.

And I picked up a box of 9mm too.  By my count, I'm ~40 rounds of .50AE, ~100 rounds of .45acp.  And 50 rounds of 9mm.  I'll pick up more if I can find it.

I think I know the answer, but just to be sure.  Will it raise any questions if I were to get pulled over hauling an arsenal of guns and ammo across state lines?

Weekends cool with me.  About the hauling of weapons not so sure but I would imagine that as along as they were secured unloaded and say in your trunk it should be ok.  If you were to get pulled over I think the smart thing to do would be tell the officer what you have and what your going to do Im sure they would understand.  Maybe we should do some research on that.

I'll just try not to get pulled over....that seems easier.

For those of us who also belong to Oklahoma Shooters need to check that website for the OSA Swap Meet and Cookout on Oct. 10th.

Can we bring significant others, my brother, or one friend(as long as they bring their guns too?) or just members only?  My "girlfriend" wants to come for some reason....

Also, do I need to bring anything other than my guns and ammo?  Drinks, 'tater salad, general BBQ cook out stuff?  Money to reimburse whomever is paying for the meat?

Yes bring whatever you can get your hands on.  Food of choice, meat, drinks/beer, BBQ stuff.  What ever you like.  I can supply some but not all of the furnishings. The more stuff we have the better it will be.  Yes significant others are welcome and friends with guns ole ladys brothers as long as they are responsible and safe and no DRAMA its cool but we need to make a list of everyone to have enough food, drinks and such.

So far, all I have on my list is the "girlfriend" and I.  Oh, and the big 'ole .50cal.

Other than that, just tell me what to bring and I can get it.

Well im not so sure of the date yet but yes youll prolly wanna bring your target stand and other gadgets you might want or need.  As it is just a field that im clearing out and usualy if im shooting i just throw something random down range and shoot it lol.  i used to have a couple ply wood stands that would hold targets but after bieng shot a million times and the weather they area no longer any good i dont think.
