I can get mine to lock by doing his crazy slinging thing, but I just still can't figure out how to make the slide come back when you fall.

I prepared this illustration of what would be required in order for a fall to cause the slide to rack.

Whered the gun go on step 2??? Did it pull a "ninja vanish"

ok, fess up if you actually tried this.

I tried it (unloaded of course) and could never get the slide far enough back to lock. Maybe he is just stronger than me.

Yes I tried it with the C9 and the .45 and it worked with both.

Just look at the guy.....he looks like a giant douche bag.
Nice salon hair cut, you lame ass pretty boy.
Screw this guy, I dont care what he knows about firearms.....he looks like a douche and that is enough for me.

funny you say that, cause there is just a smug...something about him. Just his explanation, annotation, expressions. He does come off as a f%#boy.

He talked in circles right off the bat. If he really listend to what he said about the wolf ammo, and new HP says not to use it he'd realize how stupid he sounded. I get along great with my 40 cal HP!

I tried to post a comment about the Glock breaking apart but it won't post. After seeing this I talked my son in law into a Ruger P94 for his duty gun.

lol, the C9 was supposed to be in an invisible holster on his side, I probably shouldn't have "connected" his quasi-hand to the pistol grip in step 1 Tongue

basher.  nothing more.  just another elitist.  look at some of his other videos.  pimping high dollar stuff and bashing the low end entry level guns.  Just another loser out to make himself feel good by telling other people what to do.

SW

Exactly. He's says it's a jam o matic huh? He says it's a toy gun mm ok. But I'm willing to bet he wouldn't stand in front of it and let someone unload and 8 round mag at him, and he wants to call it a toy. Yeah right. This guy is stupid.

What a tard.
this guy is total richard head bashs but will buy on

I can get my c9 to go into last round lock slide open and to chamber a round pretty easily using this technique. my c9 is pretty well broken in though.

but for this to happen accidentally, you'd need a very special circumstance for it to land. basically nothing can touch/resist the slide as it comes down, only the grip. but even so, if you dropped it at a ledge, for instance, where the grip hit the ledge and the slide had room to slide down further, it wouldn't do this, because the lightness of the lower receiver would just make the gun flip back, around the heavy slide. maybe if you dropped it between a V-shaped object, where the grip slipped in between the v and was held tight. even then, I think because of the resistance the V creates during the fall, enough momentum would be lost so that the slide wouldn't be able to fully rack.

also, this guy said he doesn't LIKE the C9. he doesn't say he hates it. just that he doesn't recommend it and doesn't like it. There are plenty of things I don't like, such as asparagus, and I don't recommend it, but if you're into it, go for it.

I can't do it on my never-been-fired C9, so maybe it's a good indicator that the recoil spring is worn and needs replacing.

maybe that you can't do it is a good indicator that you need to get out and use that C9 Wink

I suspect in step 2, you would likely have to have fallen from a tall building to get enough momentum to rack the slide.  Anybody able to do the math on that one?
