its not the leather kind, but I kinda like it.

does anyone know, shouldn't this fit the C9?  Its supposed to fit the glock 17 which I thought was nearly identical to the C9 in dimensions.

FS Galco paddle lite holster for C9. Right handed black # HP-PDL-464B
I bought it from another member here and it just doesn't work for me. C9 just to heavy for my comfort level.

Bomber, did you ever get the Galco for your C9?  I just got the Fobus for mine and it is way to retentive for my likings. Feel like the whole holster comes up when you try to (with)draw the pistol. Maybe I ran out of arm before I did holster!

i am waiting for the galco holster that pistol pete was selling.  i should have it some time this week.  i actually got a chance to try out the fobus, and i heard that a very light coat of oil helps, that and it just needs to be broken in.  when i tried it, it was pretty tight but the guy i was talking too said that you do need to break them in a little bit.

Thanks for the feedback on the Fobus. I saw on You Tube when a guy had trimmed his Fobus to make it easier to draw (don't have a link, put typed in Fobus on You Tube). Let us know how the Galco works out and I'll try some light oil. I remember the holster the Army issued me for my Baretta 92 had a retention system (first time I was exposed to one) and I was so embarrased when I could not draw my weapon - then I found I had to rotate the butt outward while drawing up. Took some getting used too!

A little silicone spray on your Fobus and it slides in and out just fine.
