First off No i didn't want ammo with AP capabilities for purposes of shooting through body armor, i think it's awesome putting rounds through steel plates. I came across some steel cored Chinese ammo online, but it i thought that there maybe some legality issues with it being steel cored and the fact that it's Chinese.

I just did the math on that link, with shipping it comes out to less than 25 cents a rounds. geez you can't beat that.

If you join their buyers club its about .20 a round. I just ordered 440 myself. The club cost 30 per year but saves you on shipping and about 10 bucks off the price, plus they give you two $10 gift certificates.

Personally I hate to hear of that Chinese 7.62x39 being shot up...it's not being imported anymore so each round that gets shot will most likely never be replaced on the market

Thanks to SW I have found out that ALL of my 7.62X54R is steel core... couple hundred rounds. No indoor range time with that!

Same here, just got three cases (2640 rds) of the Russian copperwashed. That stuff is AWESOME! Already blew thru a tin...
