Hello everyone, I purchased a new hipoint 45 this past weekend. It was brand new in box and cost me $161 after tax. I picked up a box of Winchester white boxes and shot all 100 rounds. During this time I had 0 jams and 0 malfunctions of any kind. Let me tell you, this gun is absolutely dead on. I was having to replace targets very frequently because I was tearing the centers up too bad, lol. A buddy of my was also there you recently acquire the hipoint 40 which he now has 100 rounds through with only 1 jam so far. I still have the regular sights on my pistol at the moment but my buddy has put on the peep sight and I took a few shots with it. I will have to say I really liked using the peep sight as I found it much much easier to get a clear easy view of the target so I believe I will be switching mine out.

161 is a very good deal! The ghost sites are just a personal preference. I didn't care for them, but a lot of people on here do.

from the extreme eastern edge of Iowa! You'll love that .45 more n more all the time. thousands thru mine & sent it home yesterday for some TLC, anxious for its safe/soon return. Give that ghost ring some time & trial b4 u give up on it. Has + & - to it depending on your shooting purposes.

Welcome to the forum. I too own the HP .45. It's a very steady piece with dead on accuracy. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! I just fired mine for the first time today, pretty much throwing $50 to the wind(as ammo is high), but dang it, it was more fun than a ten dollar prostitute!

I've run a couple boxes through mine and flat out love it. Just bought another 100 rounds today. It seemed everywhere I went someone had just beat me to the last few boxes. Well I bought a box of 100 wwb earlier this week and now I picked up two 50 round boxes of Winchester's in green box. All 230 grn. Anyway, I've only had it a few weeks but I love it. I know you will enjoy it.

I just want to get moved into a house so I can get back to reloading and have more time on the range. Sounds like you guys all had a blast. I'm so jealous I'm green with envy!
