So you're in an OC state?
You need a LTCH to carry at all in Indiana. Once you have it you may carry open or concealed, yes.

Also Indiana recognizes carry permits from any state that issues them, so if you have a valid cc permit from another state, you may OC in Indiana as well.

It just seems like OC would be awkward to me. I don't like to get stared out to begin with. If I had a pistol visible on my hip I can just imagine the stares.

You'd be amazed at how many people are oblivious to a gun on your hip. Of course being in AZ folks may be a bit more used to it. Still, most people are just so self absorbed with what ever they are doing that they don't even look at the people around them.

OC isnt very common around here.  Most of the time you see a gun on a hip it was an unintended view from an undercover cop.

When I see an OC I automaticly think COP... Especialy if the person is very well kept.

You just have to be aware that in the State of Indiana, if you DO open carry a weapon, regardless if you're licensed and you "disturb" the peace (meaning someone freaks out and causes panic)...you CAN AND WILL get a ticket for "disturbing the peace."

Stupid, I know...but it's much better to conceal it anyhow.

Since you created the Delmar Hand-prime-omatic, I will let you in on the Mike-invisiholster.  Hot glue a speaker magnet to the inside of you pants and just slap your .45 on the outside...

Let me know if that works...   cantlook cantlook cantlook Cheesy

Congrats!
