I doubt it, the LRO would have to be a mechanical difference, not part of the stock, would it not?

Yes it is mechanical. Parts 40-42 in the 995TS manual sticky.

However, I looked at the receivers on my latest 995 with ATI stock and the 995TS-FG I just bought and the only difference was the TS has the LRHO parts and the 995 didn't. Unless I missed something it appears I could get the LRHO parts from Hi-point and install them. And boom 995 with LRHO. My newest 995 is less than a year old though.

Has anyone else compared the receivers on both.  And noticed the same thing. Or did I just get lucky.

Not that I have both by the way. I have my classic right now with only the ATI stock. Just referring to the fact that I will not be replacing it with the TS stock.

I was thinking of that last night... I think a butt stock like the M4 would be perfect... shooting my 995 it is a little short for my long arms... makes it feel weird shooting.

i love this company.  they continue to make good carbines at good prices.  i love the ati stock, and think it's the best overall stock for the 995; but i will pick up another classic for a trip to the motherland for ts stock.

everyone should have two of these.  one is none, and two is one.

(my emphasis on the last sentence).

That's EXACTLY what kept going through my head when I went and bought my second carbine... as well as having the new IMHO cool tactical stock and LRHO feature. Smiley

Just called them today and they said two more weeks before I could buy one. It's too bad, I wanted to get this for my brother for Christmas, hopefully they'll be able to ship it in time.
