All I can say is WOW! I went to the range and met up with several buddies who are all officers with TDCJ. We had several different 45's and 9's and 22's. I thought they would say something negative like some of the snobs online but they all had high praise for the HP's especially for the price. The only thing they don't like is the size.

Now to the important part. I ran about 100 rounds through it with no jams. I fired my first two magazines with only 6 rounds after having been fully loaded for two weeks. From then on I ran full mags. No problems. It was great. I pulled the trigger and it went boom. I tore the center out of the target at 10 yards. The only rounds out of the inner circles was when I fired the entire magazine rapid fire but even then, the entire mag was within about 10-11" diameter. I was very happy with that. I am so happy. This was one of the best purchases ever. I will say it is HEAVY but it kicks less than any of the other 45's we had with us.

I hope you all have as great a veterans day as I have had. I am now going to get me a 9mm and a 995 (of course I really want a 4595 but I may have to wait a while).

Great day!

Just wanted to follow up and say that the second box of ammo went through the gun as great as the first. I am so hooked. I wish I could afford to go to the range on a daily basis. Not going to happen. I do know that I am determined to get a 9mm and I know the rounds are sooooo much cheaper and easier to find than the 45. Anyway, love it and can't wait for next weekend when my son and I are going back to the range.
