A buddy of mine just bought the Ruger 380 LCP and he went shooting this weekend. He put a 100 rounds of MagTech through it and it bruised his hand!  laugh Surely an awesome carry gun...but for someone big handed like myself, I don't think I'd like it one bit.

yeah, I'm real big handed (I'm 6'4" well over 300 pounds) and the grip extentions from impact guns are almost a must but I can handle it ok, it's a fun little gun to shoot lol. The recoil don't bug me at all it's just fun watching some peoples reactions.

My friend bought one of these for concealed carry, since they are very small.
.380 caliber is too weak IMO for defense.
We took it to the range for a shakedown.
LONG heavy trigger pull.  Can't hit crap with it unless you are 10 feet from the target.
It jammed a couple of times.  Did I mention the LONG trigger pull?
Basically, it sucks.  Pass on it.

I've found my LCP to be very reliable and if you do your part with the trigger, it can be accurate. Not ment to be a longer range gun but to be a point blank self defense gun, so the long trigger pull is kinda a plus imo.
