We have a place called Buckeye Outdoors here in Newark, well it's in Hebron but that is right down the road. They are the same company as Vance's in Columbus. They have had plenty of ammo lately. Sometimes even .380.

Get the C9. You gain nothing by going with the .380.

People are talking about the high price of 380 ACP ammo. I just bought two boxes of Prvi Partizan 380 ACP FMJ at the local gun shop here in VT for $12.45 per box of 50.

I have a Hi Point C9, 995 and 45 JHP, and just bought a Bersa Thunder 380 duotone 7 round. Wanted something small. Yes that is a great price for 380 ACP and I will go back and pick up some more.

Not entirely true - you gain less recoil and the chance that, when sanity returns to ammunition pricing, 380 will once again be cheaper.

Thanks. I went back and bought out the 380ACP at $12.45. Not that much left when I got there but something better than nothing.

reload. it may not be the cost saving reason of the past, but you can have ammo on hand. buy whatever you can whenever you find it. pick an universal powder and stock up. Unique pretty well takes care of your handgun reloading needs, in a pinch you can use small pistol magnum primers in your 9's n 40's. ditto for small rifle and small rifle magnum and remington 7 1/2 benchrest primers.

How noticeable is the difference in recoil between the .380 and 9mm?
