We have a convict in the prison that swallowed a set of toenail clippers, regurgitated them, clipped of his eyelids then swallowed them back down for future self-destructive behavior. The same con likes to break the handles off sporks and insert them into his junk, but the state says it would be inhumane treatment to make him eat without a utensil. I've seen some really odd things behind the walls.
