Hello,

Well I stopped at three stores today and all three of them had 9mm.
I went to Big 5 sporting goods and they had alot of ammo, but they are more expensive than most places.
I stopped at a Wal-Mart and they had a few boxes of 50 count WWB.
Then I stopped at a Dicks sporting goods and they had a lot of ammo.
They had probably 50 boxes of American Eagle 9mm.
Several UMC value packs.
Some Blazer aluminium, some Remington.
They also had plenty of .40 cal
Can we officially say that the ammo shortage is over ?

it was over around me a long time ago.  the only thing thats in short supply now is 22lr at a decent price.  if you want to spend 3-5$/50rds you can buy all day.  no bulk pack or blazer

It's over for everything I shoot with exception of .380.
Plenty of 22lr, 9mm, .40 S&W and .223.

No bulk 22lr here as of last weekend. I'll be checking tomarrow again. For all practical purposes no primers. Some availability of powder, but can't get just anything one wants.

So it's not over yet. Couple months more, IMO.

Primers, bullets and powder are plentiful here and ammo can be had but not always at the same places. The only ammo I'm having problems finding is Makarov.

It's the same way around here.  Now the shelves behind the counter are stuffed with multiple brands of 9mm, the rifle ammo shelves have multiple brands of 223 for the first time since ever, even the 22 shelf is looking unempty.

Ironically for me, what is now scarce is .410 shotgun shells in 2 1/2.....ironic because I just recently bought a .410 upper for my AR system.......now I can't find 2 1/2 .410 anywhere!

Good supply of 22LR this weekend @ Gander Mnt. A little expensive. And for some reason it is cheaper($3) to buy 10 boxes of 50 than 1 box of 500.

We're still pretty dry around here.  I've seen some .45 here and there, but it's still fairly uncommon.  9mm is getting easier to come by, about every 3rd time I'm in Wally World they have 9mm, but when they do it's only two or 3 boxes, all of which I normally buy lol.  .380 is still nowhere, .40 is everywhere, and .22LR bulk packs are probably the most rare item.  Our Wal Mart had 3 when I was in there 4 visits ago, I bought all 3 of them lol.

Just get in your car and head a few hundred miles south and you will find plenty of ammo down her.  At least for now.  I've been doing my part to reduce the supply.  Cheesy

I'm seeing 9mm and .40 a lot more at WM. At the local outdoor store you can pretty much get everything except for .380.

I can easily find what I am looking for around Denver, but its still way overpriced.  .380 is a little harder to get, but not impossible.

Last week, I saw 100-count boxes of 9mm WWB in wally world for the first time since the dear leader was inaugurated. On the other hand, last time I was in Louisiana in March, there was plenty to be found. Strange how it varies depending on region.

we have some 380 at WM & some HP .45, but FMJ .45 is still scarce... i never regret the $$ for reloading equipment.

I bought 600 rounds of .38 special at WW tonight and the only other handgun ammo available was 45acp. The 38 special shows up once a month if I'm lucky. Other stores do carry more of a selection but the price is really high at this time.
