left-handed

just wondering if any left handed shooters have had any problem with hit the mag. release on accident?  thinking about picking up a the .40 but not sure.

I'm a southpaw and have had no problems with hitting the mag release on my JCP 40 S&W. 

However, it depends on the size of your hands and your grip. Best to check it out like I did before buying.

Thanks,  I think the .40 will work for me i have some what wide hands. but yeah i will have to hold one to find out.

I hit it on my c9 from time to time (I'm a lefty) but my hands are sorta large (I'm 6'2 250). As long as I think about it, and adjust my grip properly I don't typically have any problems. Sometimes I'll take my off hand and place it partially under the mag to make sure it stays in tight. Of course on the 40 you have a larger grip so this might not be a problem.

another lefty here with a .40..no issues with accidental mags drops either, actually even with rather big hands i feel the .40 is really roomy.

I've never really had any problems with my C-9 as a left hander. Yeah sure, I occasionally hit the mag release but it is quite rare. However, if it's a gun used for protection I would find a pistol that fits me just right (so long as I can afford it). Ahhhhh, life in a right handed world.

nope.  if you are, you need to adjust your grip.

im  a lefty . i have the 45 and i dont any probs with the mag release or safety
