I saw a short time ago someone here suggested a central Ohio HPFF group CCW class. I found a link for a ccw class provider that claims he will train a group of up to 6 for $300, at your location. I would like to take part in this, and could check a couple places around Marion, but I imagine there would be more interest closer to columbus AT HOME CCW OHIO ONE DAY CLASSES, contact Bobby Diaz @ 888 449 0645 - We come to your home, on your time, on your schedule, when it's convenient to you, in total privacy, and taking away the stress of spending the day with a group of strangers in order to obtain your training certificate for the Ohio CCW Permit. Hope you guys can work something out! I'm taking my class with the PRO folks ( http://www.centralohioccw.com/CentralOhioConcealedCarry.htm) this week and next... and I think Keby might be as well? But there are definitely some other guys on here who have expressed interest in such a thing, and $50 a person is quite good.

The website says the student is responsible for gun range fees, in addition to class fee.

this indoor range in Lancaster is only $13 per shooter, free if you are a member at $20 per month for 1 year membership waiting for email response from ccw trainer.

I've actually been to the powder room. If we can get enough people to do it I would be interested. I could probably get one person besides myself.

My schedule is pretty open. I would just need a week or too in advance and it should be no problem.

i am low on cash also, been laid off 1 year. factory closed permanantly last week. I am waiting to see if the Unemployment comp extensions, which expire dec. 31, get reapproved.
I imagine close to christmas will be bad for many in both time and money, right now i am hoping for mid January or so. I also have 1 or 2 interested in joining.

Bump...
I may be interested if this is put together. I don't know if I'm going to CCW yet, but it'd be nice to have the class done if I decide to.
Technically I don't NEED the class because I was Honorably discharged from the military <6 years ago, but knowing how to shoot is one thing, knowing the laws about CCW and everything is another. I'd take the class regardless.
