I've been a member here awhile but don't write much, I want to know about sling mods ya'all have done on the 995. The way its placed on the weapon is not working for me, i have had the old style and now the new style is the same way. To me its on the wrong side and its hard to shoulder quickly. pixs and some explanation of the mods would be greatly appreciated. thanks and by the way you read the title right $100.00, bad economic times make big wins for true hi pointers

Oh, used.  Someone sold it for that?  Wow, must have needed a meth fix or something  Cheesy

Did you run the numbers with the local PD, at that price it very well might be stolen.

Okay, not actually a mod, just the way I did mine. Set up this way, when I sling the weapon over my shoulder, the flat side is agains my back. If I put it on the other side, then the operating handle would be digging into my back. And there's enough slack in the sling for me to use it as part of my shooting platform.

My 2 cents.

Congratulations on getting a great gun for a great price. One way or another, that gun was stolen.  devilsidesmile

finally got to test fire the 100 dollar ts . front sight fell off the end of the barrel after 10 rds., no problem got the allen wrench out put it back on. never came off again, after 30 rds. noticed the charging handle ( bolt handle) was loose, no problem handy hi point tool tightened that up. sight adjustments made and a very tight group at 30 yards, = very happy owner. i almost feel guilty for getting such a treasure, oh wait no i don't
