Well I've had my 995 for a couple of years now and just stumbled across this forum. Nice to see there is a good appreciation for the Hi Point firearms. I find mine quite enjoyable. I really find shooting with my daughters to be the most rewarding. I like the rest of you here don't see shooting as EVIL so passing on the love for the sport is important to me.
My Hi Point 995 is equipped with a ATI stock, a ATN open dot with multiple reticles, an Aluminum muzzle heat shroud, and a couple of Pro Mag 15 round mags. It been a very reliable weapon so far though I haven't been shooting it a lot given the ammo availability issues as of late.
i will get some pics soon.

LOL. I read your introductory post quickly and at first it looked like you wrote,
"I really find shooting my daughters to be the most rewarding."
Had to do a doubletake.
I'm new here too. I live up in Godfrey, IL.

War clouds were gathering rapidly. The sending of more than 3,000 British army regulars under Maj. Gen. Thomas Gage to Boston further exacerbated the imperial rift. When a column of these troops under Lt. Col. Francis Smith moved into the countryside to collect arms and munitions gathered by the patriot militia, hostilities erupted at Lexington and Concord on Apr. 19, 1775.
