So a buddy of mine wants a pistol and Im thinking of selling him my JHP 45, fobus paddle holster, two mags, 5.11 mag pouch, and hogue grip for $225.

Best part is that Cabelas has a trade in 995ts for $225.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like you're ripping him off.

Depending where you live dude..some might think it's all good where as others would not pay that much or trade.
Just my couple of cents..Alot of members will have no clue where you are at for an honest reply.

NEW Hi Point 45 - $175.00
Fobus Paddle - $24
Mag Pouch - $12.00
Hogue grip - $10.00

Total - $221.00

My question would be - how close to new is your pistol and how good of a buddy is he?

Doesnt really matter how close to new it is, mom will take care of the pistol if it were sent in.....but I wonder how good of a buddy is he?  If he just the occasional one you see every now and then,...sell it.   If its one of your better buddies, then yeah  youre not giving him much of a deal.  If it were a good buddy of mine, I'd let it go for 170-180 if he wants all of it...and just pay the difference for the 995

a used 995ts for $225??  cry2 get that regardless!!

it really depends on availability of the JHP in your area. if you think its an okay price, go for it. but watch out that you don't lose a friend over $25 Smiley if he gets into hi-points (very likely, of course) and realizes you put one over on him, he might get upset. and now he's got the .45! Picked up the TS today. $265 with two mags, 100 rounds, and a hard case. I opened a cabelas VISA and they gave me $25 off.

So in total I spent $45 on the TS, Rounds, two mags, and I kept the laser : )
