1943 MN M38 force match floorplate, counterbored with good rifling for $139.  How does that sound pricewise?

Yeah, I was just at Big 5 Sporting Goods here in AZ and they have the M38 on sale for 138.99
That seems to be the going price.

Hopefully they have more than one to choose from. Look for laminated stock without a bayonet groove. Then you're in good territory...
