when even in your dreams it outperforms better brands. had a bizzarre "gunfight" dream the other night in which glocks, colts and rugers all failed, but my HP 40 kept right on going.

when even in your dreams it outperforms better brands... okay, technically, if they're being outperformed, they're not "better." But I know what you mean. Had a casual conversation with a deputy sheriff the other day when he stopped by the redneck range where my son and I were plinking at soda cans. He took an interest in the guns we were shooting (Henry Repeater 22 and Hi-Point 995TS). He asked if he could see the 995 and commented that it seemed like a nice little gun for the money. I told him that it had done fine with the WWB and Mag Tech we'd been shooting, but it didn't seem to like the factory reloads I was trying to get rid of. He said even his AR was picky about ammo, and he was sure it cost a lot more than the Hi-Point. (He didn't know how much it had cost, exactly, because the Department had bought it for him.)

Well, I think AR's have been known to be picky about ammo. I learned the hard way to never shoot WWB 5.56 out of my DPMS... It jammed twice, and the second time so hard that I had to lean on the charging handle to free the casing... *shudder* NEVER doing that again. Now I shoot better ammo, and am very careful to keep everything well-lubricated.

In my dreams-- non of my guns work, and usually they fall apart--probably means something Freudian or something.. oh, and my "gun" works fine BTW, so keep those comments to yourself..
