You know, I might be interested in attending if you guys don't mind GA folk....

My people are originally from Chester, SC, and I was planning on heading back soon to do some research. It would be quite handy to make the trip around that time....

you would most certainly be welcomed to attend, my ex is from chester and the range we'll be at will be very near chester county

Anyone else starting to get antsy? I can't wait. I'm actually looking forward more to the camping then the shooting (camping dont cost and arm and a leg like ammo).

and we will be welcoming any early arrivers on the 7th if you so desire and anybody wishing to make a weekend out of it is more than welcome to stay thru sunday.  this is going to be a temporary range at one of my properties but trust me it will be safe, stocked and very eventful.  my permanent range is currently being fought against tooth and nail by the lancaster county council, seems some years ago the klan had a private range that got way out of hand(imagine that) and ever since there has been an ordinance against an outdoor range in the county but things are looking good for my approval but it's just a lengthy process.

I should be able to make it unless something comes up.  The wife will most likely be attending provided other she will not be the only woman attending.

Wife and I will be there barring any unforeseen circumstances. Looking forward to some camping and shooting.

Ok, so lets get all the details in one place shall we?
Date: November 8th, but day early camping arrivals are ok.
Where: Lancaster, SC (about an hour south of Charolette, NC)
Food: Bring enough to feed yourself and guests, although a cookout is planned, it's always good to be prepared. Not sure what is needed food wise, but potluck might be in order.
I will have a decent sized cooler (55qt I think?) that I will bring with some ice in it to store beverages and food, but you own cooler would be a good idea unless you dont have the space to pack it.
Lodging: Lodging will be available in the area, but it is past experiences that have taught me to book early, you never know when some goof ball convention or something will be in the area the same time we will be, don't wanna sleep in your car.
Camping: The Krippps have been gracious enough to allow us to set camp on their land, so that is a great lodging option, but be sure to bring trash bags to clean your mess up in. Always leave the place better then you found it.
Guns & Saftey: Saftey is a big deal here as this is private land, there will be a fair bit of people there, and of course there will be family members. So the ol accidental muzzle sweep or bugger hook on the bang switch will not be tolerated.

Questions I have:
Are we still on for the pig?
Do you want donation to help cover the cost of the pig and the renovation costs?
Is there anything I, or anyone else, can bring such as supplies (firewood, buns, plates, ice, so on) that will help?
Why the hell is it taking so long for the shoot date to come!

Edit:
Oh yea and if I find some binary targets to bring, can I use them there!?!?

ok, the pig is still is as good as dead already.  no donations are needed as i have been fortunate this year and would love to share this with my fellow members here.  i will be working on a list for extra food related items that might be needed over the next week or 2 and will post as soon as possible.  at this time i am recommending lodging in the Rock Hill, SC area as it will be the closest to the actual sight,  99% of the hotels in that area are beyond acceptable but if you have any questions then please ask me about any one of them.  just pray for good weather and a safe trip and day for all attending.  this should be fun.  also if anybody has any needs for specific ammo, by all means let me know, there are some killer places around here that have vast supplies of all types at insanely low prices and i'd be glad to stock up for you before you get here or the prices rise

Can't freaking wait! We are planning to arrive friday evening and leave sunday midday if that's ok still. I'll be bringing some camp fire type food plus MREs (incase of rain or something). Will I need firewood or is there somewhere there we can chop some if needed?

I have been trying to figure out why the 8/11 sounded familiar and I realised why.  I have a convention booked already for that weekend in High Point, so I won't be able to make the shoot Sad
