If Im not mistaken, CDNN or Centerfire Systems had the same problem not too long ago. Check out this thread over at Suarez International's WarriorTalk Forum:

there is only one credit card processing company that allows firearm transactions and they charge three times the normal rate.

I think it's retarded. How a company can dictate whether or not you business is "appropriate" or not is ridiculous.
Like someone said on that thread, it they were running an escort service or selling liquor, it would be ok.
Oh, but we can't have them selling guns and using our card service.
Someone think of the children.

That is when you pay with a credit card to have a big ass sign made telling everyone that drives by you don't take it and why! Then tell them the same company was used to purchase the sign!

I don't know about everyone else but I had much rather see a CC Company process gun sales instead of Pu**y sales .

I wonder if this is an anti gun stance or a risk management stance.  If guns were frequently purchased with stolen cards, it would drive up the costs of the processing company, I could see why they'd charge more or choose not to process those transactions.

Anyone have any more info on it?
