Pistol or carbine? If pistol, take the right grip off, & remove the magazine safety @ your own risk. If rifle, take it out of the stock & take a look.

Is this a new or used gun?

IIRC, this is a thing that happens when....the sear is put in backwards? Or something like that.....

But the right grip is a good place to start.

Have you contacted the Dealer yet? Take it and show it to him if you can.

Have you checked the pics and videos about how it should be put together? Take it apart, try again?

They fire the guns at the factory, it's really odd that this is happening with a new gun, but you know....gremlins.

Regardless, the factory will make it right, but still...it's not a good thing.

Can you take pictures of the insides, both grips, and with the slide off? Lots of light, macro setting if you have one. Maybe we can see the issue?

It prevents the gun from firing when there is no mag in the gun...so....is the EMPTY mag in the gun when you try pulling the trigger?

May have just solved the mystery....
