Should the ejector manually kick out a round when you cycle the slide back with one in the chamber or does it need the recoil to help blow it out. The ejector is pulling them out of the chamber but the brass is hanging up on the ejector. No, I am not doing this with live rounds, I made some clearly marked dummys. I have never tried this before but I am a little nervous about it because I recently removed the slide for cleaning.

Guys I am sorry but I just had a senior moment. My dummy round does not have a primer in it so because the firing pin acts as part of the extractor mechanism of course it's not going to work. I knew that, Dah!!!
