Default C9 Mod List

Trying to compile a list of mods for a C9, please add to the list!

1. Grips, Frame -Paint, Wood, Stone, Moulded Plastic replacements, stipple with solder iron.[ATTACH]painted-grip.jpg[/ATTACH]painted-frame.jpgwoodgrip.jpg
2. Barrel-Polish Feed Ramp, Ejection Port, Barrel feed-ramp.jpg
3. Slide-Polish any or all sections to a mirror like shine,or paint to desired color. Color-Fill engraved portionfull-polish.jpg colorfill.jpgpolished-slide.jpg
4. Trigger-Replace plastic factory one with aluminum "Joey Tigger". Modify stock springs for softer pull.joey-trig.jpg
5. Sights- Replace rear factory ones with David Mahan ones, use Ghost Ring, Drill holes and insert Fiber Optic tubes. Front-Winchester low profile Shotgun Fiber Optic.mahansight.jpgfo-sight.jpg
6. Accessory Rail- Add piece of rail by drilling and tapping on section where S/N is.
7. Magazine- Tune lips by straightening. Add LED lights to bottom of 10 round mag.

Modifie/replace mag release button;
replace take down pin with allen head set screw
mod safety for ease / look

Barrel swapping between 380/9mm both compensated and not, houge grips for the people who like them, seen a guy take some slide off to expose the rails and mounted a light, trigger mounted laser, and dummy big 75 round drum mag for no reason. Thats everything else i can think of.

Skateboard tape on the slide to give it a better grip.

Default C9 Mod List Revised

HI-POINT C-9 MODIFICATION LIST

1. GRIPS- Sand and paint, Sculpt from stone or wood, Stipple with solder iron, Buy replacement from vendor, Add wrap around rubber grip (Piece of inner tube, Hogue 17000, What-A-Grip for tennis racquets etc.)

2. SLIDE- Remove paint and polish any or all sections, Repaint any desired color, Color fill engraved portion, Remove portion of slide to expose frame to accept accessory

3. FRAME- Scuff and paint, Drill and tap Slide Release Pin hole to accept Smithing Solutions Allen head set screw, Drill and tap area by S/N to accept piece of frame rail

4. TIGGER- Remove factory one and install Aluminum “Joey Trigger”, Perform “Trigger Job” for softer pull, install trigger shoe

5. SAFETY- Add screw thread protector #8 over lever

6. BARREL- Polish Feed Ramp, Ejection Port, Barrel

7. SIGHTS- Paint with Day-Glo or Glow in the dark colors, (Rear) Use factory Ghost Sights, Drill holes and install Fiber Optic rods, Replace with David Mahan sight. (Front) Install Fiber Optic Low Profile Shotgun on raised portion of slide

8. MAG RELEASE- Paint button, tweak the spring for more tension if mag release is to sensitive, Remove Magazine Lockout Bar to disable safety feature (NOT RECOMMENDED)

9. MAGAZINE- Straighten feed lips, Add LED lights to mag base

10. GRIP TAPE- Add to slide, grips, trigger guard

Nice job on all your mods!!! I like the wood grips most of all, but I'm still too cheap to shoot the lock off my wallet to get a set.

ya me too never heard of this. anyone have a link the thread talking about it i cant seem to find it. can you actually fit enough leds in there to get a suffecient amount of light. do you have to have the 10 round mag for the c9 with the grip extension or can you do it with the stock 8rd mag. thx for any info
