That looks exactly like the one Hi-Point sells and I bought.

I noticed the similarities between the holster Hi point sells and the protech models (at least from the pics anyway, since I own neither) I wonder If they are the same ones?

*updated to add the new holsters and sizes*

You live in South Carolina, right?
No firearm is to be anywhere besides the glovebox or trunk. If you have a cwp, you may have it concealed on you, you may also have it inside a garment's pocket, given if you were to put the garment on, the firearm would be concealed. A firearm under the seat is a quick way to get a "Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon" charge. I strongly suggest against you doing this, and i hope you take this the right way...
Thank you for your concern, however it's not quite what it sounded. First let me to show you what the law actually says about where handguns can be carried in a motor vehicle as your list is incomplete, as well as the real property section.

Quote:
SECTION 16-23-10.
(10.) “Luggage compartment” means the trunk of a motor vehicle which has a trunk; however, with respect to a motor vehicle which does not have a trunk, the term “luggage compartment” refers to the area of the motor vehicle in which the manufacturer designed that luggage be carried or to the area of the motor vehicle in which luggage is customarily carried. In a station wagon, van, hatchback vehicle, or sport utility vehicle, the term “luggage compartment” refers to the area behind, but not under, the rearmost seat. In a truck, the term “ luggage compartment” refers to the area behind the rearmost seat, but not under the front seat.

SECTION 16-23-20.
(8.) A person in his home or upon his real property or a person who has the permission of the owner or the person in legal possession or the person in legal control of the home or real property.

(9) A person in a vehicle if the handgun is secured in a closed glove compartment, closed console, closed trunk, or in a closed container secured by an integral fastener and transported in the luggage compartment of the vehicle; however, this item is not violated if the glove compartment, console, or trunk is opened in the presence of a law enforcement officer for the sole purpose of retrieving a driver’s license, registration, or proof of insurance.
The truck that I refered to is her barn truck that never leaves our property, unless I have to trailer it to my shop for major repairs. That hasn't happened in years. So we're covered there. Sometimes when you're throwing hay bales or fixing fences, it's easier to have a safe, out of sight place to put your piece. It makes a lot more sense than throwing it on the hood.

The car is a bit more complicated. There's a place she has to stop on a regular basis with it's regulation 8"x12" "NO CONCEALABLE WEAPONS ALLOWED" (legalese for victim disarmament zone) sign out front. You can't carry in, it doesn't fit in the console or glove box and throwing it in the trunk is advertising. So we asked a couple of people what they do at the same place. The answer 7-0 was under the seat. And two of those people were cops. It's a dirty little secret around here. I just want to keep it off the floor.

I think we should take this to PM and stop hijacking the thread.

The more I look at the picture, the more I realize that the Hi-Point holster has the thumb-strap attached by velcro so it can be changed for a lefty or removed. It can also be adjusted for a tight or loose fit.

The Pro tech can be changed to lefty or righty, can be tightened or loosened to fit the pistol snuggly . It can also be turned 180* and carried. I have not looked at the one HP sells so I don't know what theirs looks like. As for a specific model , I just know it is the intimidator. But the guy who sells these does ask what pistol it is for and then ships the appropriate one.

The one HP sells is extremely similar . The only diff I see is mine (pro tech) has a plastic piece as the thumb break and the HP one has a nylon strap on both sides.

My bulldog is the same way - it can be changed from right to left.

That intimidator holster is the same that hipoint sells. You can fit 2 mags into the front mag pouch.

don't worry, I found teh size, and got it posted. If ya'll can just tell me what brands, size really isn't very important. the main reason why I want to do this is because, honestly, our Hi points, while good little pistols, really aren't well represented in the aftermarket. That is ashame for some of us who like our little ( )black pistols and don't keep them around as plinkers, but as what they were intended for, a reliable self defense tool.
for example, If I were to go someplace "dressy", the crosman holster ( and a few of the others) would look out of place with my Sunday best wranglers, my nice button down shirt and my freshly polished boots. The Crosman seems to fit in perfectly with my "everyday" wear ( my not so sunday levis my sleeveless t-shirt or button up shirt and my old S*** kicker work boots). I could definitely see teh advantage of a shoulder holster for my vest, my carhartt jacket etc..
an dif I can help someone out by taking a little time with yalls help putting this list together, it might save us all a little looking the next time we need a holster for our l

and by the way, for those of yall that don't know, the difference between "sunday-best jeans" ( teh ones that you'd wear to church on Sunday)and "sunday Jeans" ( the ones that you wore to church on Sunday 8 or 9 years ago) is what I like to call the "holiness factor". teh more "hole-y" they become, the better "sunday jeans" they become.

I use the Fobus holster for my JHP 45, and it is comfy as this gun is ever going to get in terms of carry. Passive retention seems to work pretty well too.
what is the fobus one you have? i went to the website and all they show is the c9 and the .380...
