Default Laser Sights for 9mm handgun

Hi all:

Has anyone used of have a the laser sight for the 9mm handgun and what is your opinion.

Not sure how familiar you are with the C9, but there isn't an accessory rail on any of them other than the Comp model. Your only choice would be one that clamps onto the front of the trigger guard, I wouldn't think it would hold zero well.

Thanks, I just realized that it had to rail and I clearly do not want a trigger mount. Have a great holiday and thnks again for the reminder. I am not home at the moment so could not grab the 9mm though some photos were clear enough to show the n o rail!

Will it void the warranty to drill and tap under the slide on the frame to accomodate a laser?

Yes, I just got off the phone with Hi-Point and they said tapping it would void it. I asked them would it be safe and the lady didn't know and wasn't able to direct me to someone that would.

Being a polymer frame, there is not anything really to tap. You would compromise the integrity of the frame, so bad idea all around.
