Glad you had ammo other than WWB to try out which let you experience how good the C9 is.

I bought the 380 Saturday and cycled 145 American Eagle rounds with no problems.

ironman,
My C9 does not like the Federal ammo. All I got was jam after jam. Good thing I also had taken some WWB and Remington UMC with me (both of which shot smoothly). Otherwise my monthly range visit would have been a disaster.

My C9 Comp eats whatever I can afford to feed it... just way too much of it! Since Walmart raised it's prices I can actually get BLazer brass cheaper at my LGS.

I believe that Cabelas still has Sellier and Bellot 9mm on sale for 8.99 a box through the end of the month if I remember right.

I had a strange incident with the $9.47 federal.

Ran like a champ through my 995, turned my P95 into a jam-o-matic. 2 or 3 failure to feed / eject per 15 round mag.

These were really good jams too, spent casing would almost stove pipe and the new round would really do a great job of staying partially seated in the mag and hold the spent casing itself securely in place.

One of those, turn on safety, lock the slide open, try to eject mag but with round partially seated it will not drop, attempt to push new round back into mag, turn gun upside down and shake to release spent casing with little luck, fiddle a little more and now we're ready to defend ourselves from the zombie hoards.

Scary reminder of what could happen in a real life scenario if any semi-auto were to jam.

I had stocked up with a dozen boxes, had used 6 boxes with no issues in either gun, this shooting session was boxes 7 & 8

The P95 is prone to malfunction with limp wristing, made sure that wasn't the issue. Gun is kept clean, well maintained and properly lubricated. Upon disassembly, no strange wear marks and nothing appeared bent out of shape.
