How did you do this, was it done by hand?

Yes done by hand. I started with 220 grit sand paper to take the powder coat off then moved up to 600 grit then to 1000 and finally 2000 grit auto body wet/dry sand paper. Then polished it with eagle one polishing wad. Brought out a real nice mirror finish. The higher grit auto body paper you can get at Walmart along with the eagle one polishing wad.
The grips I just lightly sanded the so the paint would grab better then sprayed them with 2 coats off rust oleum satin paint made for plastics.

Nice job. Did redoing the grips take away the slippery feeling?

Thank you. Yes it did a bit. I ordered a hogue slip on grip the other day along with a laser sight. I should have them in a few days. Can't wait.

Thank you. Really would like custom grips but I will see how the hogue slide grip works out. For 8$ you can't go wrong
