Default take down pin poll

So my next idea is ready to go to the machine shop spent sometime thinking about a take down pin design so I dont have to beat the pin out to take the gun apart so here is what i came up with . it would be made from a material called a-2 , or maybe 4140 pre-heat treat either way the same rockwell hardness of the pin we have now the slide will keep the pin from falling out , you have to lock the slide back as you would normally and then just pull the pin ...so how many would want something like this??????? if it was cheap that is

Im all for "working smarter not harder" I vote yes...
my only hang up would be what kind of reprecussions would we "suffer" from in regards to Mom's lifetime warranty?

I would like a different method without the use of tools. However, upon a visual inspection I find three obstacles, clearance, tolerance, and rotation. Just keep in mind, the slide retainer pin holds the entire gun together, and pin failure will result in a disaster.

My concern would be as Ranger mentioned. I would also need to see some pretty extensive results. Trigger is one thing but like he mentioned, a failure of that pin would equal disaster.

I voted yes I would like one but I would need to hear/see some pretty conclusive test results before doing it.

Conditional "YES". I'd like to hear more from MOM, and wait a bit for some test results.
