When I talked to the Hi Point rep about sending me another part I ask him if they sent out a lot of those plastic rods and he said "you wouldn't believe it!"....LOL

I took apart my Savage 987 and the C clip for the safety went flying. 3 days looking and still haven't found it. I usually use a magnet to catch parts like that, figures the one time I dont...

the one thing I know about small parts like that flying in to space is that if I find them it is in the last place I look.
