I am new here It was suggested that I come to this forum from sksboards, and ask this question of, does anyone know anything about the maverick JS 9mm, I will be getting one tomorrow on the cheap and am wondering how good are they? Are they reliable? are there any recalls on them? and last does Hi-point honor the warranty, as it is a hi-point pistol just before they were called Hi-point.

I have one. They are the first. I have approx 400 rounds through mine with no problems. Haven't shot it in a couple of years. You should buy it at a good price! They are hard to find! And YES Hi-Point will honor the Lifetime Warranty.

The warranty follows the gun, so yes it is covered. with it being a used gun, may i suggest calling hp, and sending it in for a free safety check. Thew will clean it and install any updated parts that may have come along, and make sure it is good to go for you.

OMG this thing fugly!!!! But there is something about it that makes me like it.... and do you have the number for the correct place to send it in for warrenty? as I think the sights are off :, and it was jamming a little bit but the guy said it was because of the cold but I would love to send it in for a safety check...
