Default Why won't Hi Point fix the magazine issue

With just about everyone complaining about the magazines, why won't Hi Point just redesign and/or make a better magazine? I know cost is an issue and they need to keep the cost of the gun cheap since it is one of the cheapest gun you can buy, but still, seems to make sense that they should just correct the problem once and for all. I would even be willing to buy new magazines if they offered them.

Because it isn't worth it yet. It's not that hard to adjust mags yourself, if you even get a problem. Most people don't care that much.

This is one issue I have about HP. It wouldn't cost much to have the tooling adjusted. I'm assuming they are stamped and the adjustment to the tooling would be very little with very little downtime.

These are the simple fixes that would improve HP reputation. With as many people complaining about it, it would be good PR and good for sales to address some issues.

i've never had issues. if ALL mags went belly-up,they would probably do something.

Don't other manufacturers have the same rate of mag issues off their production lines as Hi-Point?

Just sounds like a hiccup in manufacturing whenever it does happen, not a flaw in design.

not factory mags. most factory mags run out of the box. it's the aftermarket ones that are a crap shoot.

I'm sorry you are having trouble. All my 995 mags and my JHP mags are great. If you can't get it running right consider sending it on a trip to Ohio for a few days.
