Default 4595 cheek sting

Hey folks
I have ben doing alot of shooting with the 4595 and it has been great and flawless but the cheek sting is annoying, I did a mod on mine that works good, i dont know how to get my pics from photobucket so i will try to explain First is to remove the cheek piece,it pries off from the rear and has a tab on the front lip. so pry from each side on the rear portion. Next i bought some of the cheap black foam tool box liner and i sprayed adhesive to the cheek piece then stretched the foam over it and tucked it under the edges of the cheek then snapped it back into place. It worked great.

Maybe look at it on photo bucket under hi-poman

Mod Edit: Added photos.

Looks good. I don't like the cheek slap either, I'm sure I'll do something similar.

I have to admit I never noticed any cheek sting so far.

I have only had it a few times and it was from being too far up toward the sites. After I backed up a bit, I got tighter shot patterns and no slap. At first, I thought it was the gun, but then I realized it was just me. It kept pulling my beard too, until I backed up.
