That guy, from what I heard of the other people on the show, is actually one of the most (excuse my "lack of better words") sane. I'm not saying Preppers are insane. I have a go bag, and evac. plan, but I don't think about it religiously.

Yep watchn Peppers seen the 45cal...I went to Cabelas on sat and they cant keep the Hipoints in stock.I just ordered the 45 pistol and 45 cal carbine.

There is a old story of the grasshopper and the ants. I'm pretty old and have seen times when a little prepping could be very usefull. In hurricane Carla we were without electricty for almost two weeks and after Ike I had to take fuel, water and food down to son-in-law and his wife in Houston. We are not obsessive on prepping but we do prep as its a common sense thing to do.
Saw the trucker in question and he and his wife are brave. She has cancer and they lost their house but still out there working hard and defending!

The guy from Florida had 3 hi points 2 pistols and a carbine
