Default "Bullet Button" for 995

Any advice on home-fabbing (or purchase of) a Cali-legal "Bullet Button" or similar mechanism for a 995? So far, google is turning up a big goose-egg for me. :P

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk

there are a few postings for the advice you seek in the carbine section of the forum. i made my own, as i live in this hellish state. what i did was order the large bullet button, sand blasted it and painted it black. drilled a small hole in the middle. put spacers (washers) in the back of the release, to make it stationary. it works great. hope this helps!

The forum search function doesn't turn up much. (yeah, I actually did try searching before I posted. )

I'm having trouble visualizing what you're describing. But I think I can figure it out with a bit of work.

Thanks.

Any other suggestions?

i think mold99 sells them on ebay. what im trying to say is that if you put it on as he shows it, it is just a release button with a wider surface. (instead of just the standard release) so if you put something behind or glue it in place so it does not move and drill a hole in the center of it, it becomes a bullet button. i will try to take pictures of mine later. im moving right now and cant post pictures at work.
