Default Hand Gun & Carbine Magazine interchange

New to the Hi-Point family.
Which cal. mags are interchangeable between the carbines & handguns?

There may be some trouble using an old mag from the original plain 995 in a new C9 due to not being set up for a last round hold open. Everything else will interchange.

The reason I asked is that I was considering ammo purchase.
I read somewhere that there was a problem with the length of one of them & I couldn't find that info again.
If I add a 9mm carbine to my collection could I use the clip from the 9mm hand gun and vice-versa?
Same for .45

This is one of the reasons I own Hi-Points. I have the .45 in handgun and carbine and eight mags. It leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Just a warning i haven't seen mentioned here the only mags that are not interchangable between the two are the extended ten round mags, the carbines will not work in the pistols, they will fit and go in, but since they do not have the extra baggage block at the bottom like the pistol mags they will have many feed issues. just a word of advice. now im not sure if the pistol 10 round will work in the carbine or not, as I don't own a carbine yet.

The ten round 9mm pistol mag will not work in the 995 simply because of the block on the bottom but the 995 mag should work in the pistol

I believe it will fit and lock in the pistol, but where it doesn't have the block it wiggles to much to feed properly. so thats why the pistol mag has the block, also seems help grip it a bit better.

So much bad info on this thread.

The 8 round and 10 round C9 pistol mags will NOT fit the 995 carbine.

The 10 round carbine mags will fit the C9, sort of...they tend to wiggle some, and stick out.

All the other stuff will share between carbines and pistols of the same caliber.
