Default Laser Switch Placement

I just purchased a forward grip and laser sight for my 995ts. I bought both items directly from Hi-Point. The diagram that came with the laser sight shows the contact switch attached to the front of the forward grip near the top. However, there doesn't appear to be enough room to install the switch at that location and still be able to fold the grip to the horizontal position. As an alternative, I have installed the switch at the top of the grip on the left side. This location seems to work but sometimes it is awkward to press the switch. For those of you who have installed the laser sight, where did you install the switch and how does that location work for you?

I put the switch on the side of the grip so that it will be under my finger tips. That way I can control the laser better IMO.

Hi
I installed mine to the front of the forward grip near the top, so that the switch was easy to reach with my left index finger. That being said, my forward grip will also fold to the rear. Might want to check your grip to see if it will also fold back.

Put it where you naturally hold the weapon as if you where go to shoot. Gezzz don't start reading the instructions.

Mosin Nagants are like Happy Meal toys. You can call yourself a collector and leave them on the shelf in the plastic, but they are not much fun to play with.
