Default Soo, I installed a TS stock on my old 995 Today.

Seemed pretty easy and straight forward, 'except' Its not extracting rounds at all. Load in a mag, slam in the bolt, and it does NOT extract the round.

WTF did I do wrong? You dont touch anything like that when you stick the new stock on.. What happened, and how can I resolve this without sending it to mother?

Thanks ahead of time!

Does it even try to extract it, or leave it in the chamber?

Edit: Is the receiver clip installed, the shroud bolds NOT overtightened. Did you work the operating handle a few times beforehand to align everything? Is the slide binding? Just a few questions to make me better understand the problem. Pics would help too if able.

Its not even trying to extract, just leaves them in the chamber. Receiver clip is on there, I tried loosing the receiver cover screws, nothing works. Its going to back the mothership. >

Either the bolt isn't going forward far enough, the extractor spring decided to break on you or the hook on the extractor did. Things happen usually at the worst possible time. I'd look for something broken in there.

Make sure you have the operating handle installed all the way, sometimes they bind on the shroud. Also make sure shroud is not binding the slide by the ejection port.

from what i understand before you send that thing in to mother you would be better served by removing the ATI stock. FWIW

I just installed a TS stock on my 995 classic myself. I didn't have that problem, but I can't seem to get my scope to zero now. I've racked in all the way up and it still fires low. I don't know enough about scopes to know what to do to fix it. I'm going back to the iron sights.

Offhand, your problem sound like the receiver may not be seating properly or something. When you put it in, was there any excess chuncks or tags of frame) like overflow from the mold) maybe putting pressure againt the slide?

When you pull the slide back and let it go does it go all the way forward? They all pull back to me to me, but it should go forward relatively freely.

Everything seemed "looked" absolutely normal, and fine. I dont know what happened. I fed-exed it back to the MotherPlanet, soo.. lets see what happens.

I shoulda just sent them the rifle and had them do the install from the beginning.
