Ok, since I'm a nice guy I fired up my main pc and got you the links for the sites to get what you need.

Pay attention to sizes, keeping in mind that with an annular cutter the inside diameter is what you go by.

Good luck and make 100% certain your threads are concentric to the bore.

So your definition for "short lived" means as long as it takes?

Trust me grasshopper, I know exactly what I am doing. It will out last you and I.

I don't remember ever hearing of that. Did he do a full 1911 style barrel bushing or an adapter to use threaded devices?

I think cicpup even tried to buy it but Melvin jumped the bid and cut Rich's throat on it. Don't quote me on that though.

Edit: Here you go. Amazingly enough, I found it. http://www.hipointfirearmsforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313803

You showed the custom C9, DewieJr. grabbed that.
Mel sniped the custom JHP, iirc...

Hence the "don't quote me on that" statement, dipshiz. It also goes to show that it can and has been done.

I am not going to use a bushing as it is not required, and will be threading the barrel and making a thread adapter to mount the suppressor on. He made his bushing to tighten up the slide to the barrel, and he did a great job on it.

I haven't turned up any suppressed HP .45's in my searches yet.
