Hi there i recently bought a savage model 58 bolt action 12 ga for $70, i loaded the mag ten minutes after i bought. as i live down the street from the gun store and the spring and all the guts flew out of it, i took it back to the gun store and they said they would fix it no problem, replace or refund me. well a week later hadn't heard anything i went in the store they said it was fixed but 3 out of 5 time he loaded it there the same thing happen it was clearly broken so i told him i wanted to wash my hands with it and get a refund, only then did he start saying "how do i know you didnt break this just to get a refund" i wanted to hit him. he said I'lll give you your refund but you find another place to buy your guns i said fine. its a new store and i will gladlly take my buisness to my main supplier.

Please boycot S&S Firearms in fostoria ohio drive the 15 minutes to tiffin and hit up mountain mans tradining post on SR 53

Man, that is unbelieveable . A store owner would throw away a customer because of something so easy to correct ? He is not a good business man and has little hope of staying in business if that is how he wants to treat customers. I will boycot him but seeing as i live in Arizona thats no sacrafice.

OVO has hands down the best service in Ohio. Bought my wifes S&W .38 Special for $500 new. Went home, got online, Vances had it on sale for $429. Called OVO. They had her go in with jsut the receipt and handed her $70 CASH when I paid with MY card. Amazing. They have my bidness for life.

Done! I won't be setting foot inside their door. Although the chances of me actually being in Fostoria are pretty small, but if I do find myself there...well, you know.

OVO has the best customer service and friendly guys I've EVER seen in a sporting goods store. I've taken my family there for range practice and they are friendly to the kids. It's really good to know that they'll price match so easily.

After one trip to OVO, I will never set foot in Vance's again. Those guys think they're God's gift to gun stores. Unless you're walking out of there with an HK or a Kimber, you're trash. I asked about a Hi-Point there and they guy actually rolled his eyes, sighed, put the gun on the counter and walked away. Another guy put it away. Maybe they're so haughty because they're Columbus's only gun store. I don't know for sure, but, I'll never find out with OVO around.

Being the owner of a store like I am, I can honestly tell you that there are multiple guns waiting on my racks for me to fix that I acquired via trades and such but to for me to sell one of those guns to a customer, well it won't happen until it is fixed correctly........usually. I will not give a refund for a defective NEW gun that is purchased but I will go to war with the manufacturer over it and try to help my customer out as most have no clue as to how to ship a gun back to the maker. But on a used gun I clearly state that I have gone through it or have not gone through it, the one's I have checked over have a limited warranty/exchange policy from me backing them. But if a customer just won't wait for me to get around to fixing one and he still wants to buy it then if it breaks I give him huge break on the repairs, basically I will give him the labor free and he pays for parts only. Sorry you had such a hard time with this guy, probably won't see him around long if his attitude doesn't change soon.

Do you use the Davidson's guarantee? If so, have any experience with them? My SR9c has a Davidsons Warranty and I hope I never have to use it, but if I do I hope its a smooth process.
