I decided to take the Pitbull to the range just to see if there might be more issues with the revolver before returning it to Charter Arms; well, I glad I did. Found out that I couldn't fully insert a round into one of the chambers. It stuck out just enough to prevent the cylinder from closing easily and if I forced it closed, the cylinder would not rotate. For the rest of the range visit it became a 4 shot revolver. One more defect for them to fix.
Iím glad I brought a 1911 along because that way my range visit wasnít a total disappointment. BTW, the 1911 is so much more comfortable to shoot when compared to the snappy Pitbull and a lot more accurate. Go figure.
