Default H&R Pardner Pump 12 Ga.

I was in Wal Mart and they had a 12 ga. Pardner pump 28 inch barrel for $159.00. So I bought it. I really wanted a HD 18.5 inch barrel. I thought I could buy a barrel in the 18.5 to 22 inch range somewhere. Can't find one anywhere. I really don't want to cut it down but may have to. Should have gone with the Mossberg 500/Maverick 88. H&R doesn't know when they will get any barrels in. If your in the market for a shot gun think twice on the Pardner pump.

Thanks - I decided today that I will cut it down. I want a side saddle and a magazine extension for it. I did call H&R. They have no idea when the barrels will be in. They said try next year.

Just picked up a used mossberg 500 at a local pawn shop myself for $100.00. Really dirty, previous owner wasn't into cleaning his firearm, but in good shape. Now I have have a good 12 gauge pump for $100 bucks and a little work. I think Academy sports had an H&R pardner pump, 18.5 barrel for $139. last summer.... but I could be wrong. I think Wal Mart sells the Maverick 88 for $177 or $187. with the accessories available, might be the way to go, or gone.

I went into Wal Mart yesterday looking for a Maverick 88. No deal. They did have a Mossberg 500. Dick's carry them, but they never have them in stock. I'm doing the cut down still. They won't order a shot gun for you either.
