if the current admin has lost interest in maintaining the forum then cant he turn the reigns over to someone else? i guess i'm just confused. why would a forum that has a strong following and active membership just suddenly shut down without any meaningful explanation. it reminds of a couple years ago when i went to my favorite bar and found it locked up and cleared out. that place was pretty much my entire social life and all of a sudden it was gone and never reopened and i never did find where the regular patrons went.

I've tried buying it but he won't respond back to me. No clue. Seems like all the data is lost and he's copy/pasting stuff from archive.org.

All data was lost because there was an issue with archiving the data for the transition to a new server. Not sure what the problem was but it is extremely unfortunate.

We all knew it was coming as he posted ahead of time and warned us of what was happening. However the forum didn't come back up as quickly as was expected, that is why the members were in a panic.

This forum seems to be the beginning of a good thing, something to keep as well as the "new" Bryco-Jennings forum. I'll be checking in with both.
Someone mentioned earlier on that these forums are great in that we can pursue our addictions to low cost firearms w/o looking like the class fool. Like many others, I have a "quality weapon" or two, but I still love my Raven. I enjoy listening to other posters who have much the same interests. Long live the SNS guns.

We will rebuild it. It is unfortunate that so much information was lost but it will be slowly but surely recreated.

Send an E-Mail to the admin over there and he will make it right.

It was probably just an oversight that your account wasn't activated.
